Trying to capture film from DV camera to Premiere Elements 14

Hi. I have a Panasonic video DV camera and windows 10. When looking at my devices, it seems that Windows does recognise my Panasonic NV-GS320. However Premiere Elements 14 doesn't identify my device. Using Firewire to connect the camera to my PC.

When I had Windows 7, I could use Windows Movie Maker to import films but this program doesn't seem to exist anymore...

Anyone

Correct answer Steve Grisetti

WinDV is great way to capture miniDV over a FireWire connection, if that's what you're looking for. And it's free.
