Unable to import videos

Hello I am unable to add videos or images into premiere elements 2018 without it crashing.

the crash information is as follows

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it does the same thing.

it happens with both new and existing projects.

Does anyone happen to know how to fix this?

Looks like Photoshop opens but the organizer is crashing now too.

tried to repair the organizer database but that did not help.

    Excellent i repairs the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4" and that looks to have fixed the issue i was having. Thank You whsprague
