upgraded to premiere element 20 but my old premiere projects showing offline

Hi everyone,

 

I just upgraded to premiere element for 2020. i'm having a difficult time retrieving my old projects on Premieree element 12. it keeps showing my offline video.

 

How do I retrieve my complete project?

Premiere Elements isn't backwards compatible, so you can't open a project created in a previous version of the program with a newer version of the program. When you try, you often end up with a buggy project -- and often the project gets corrupted and won't open in either program.

 

I highly recommend you finish version 12 projects in version 12 and start your new projects in version 2020.

 

And I hope you didn't lose any of your projects!
