Upload problem

I just purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 2020.  Never used it before.  I was using Arcsoft Showbiz.  I uploaded a 52 minute video and it won't show me all the frames, only the first one in the timeline.  I want to expand it but I can't.  it is an MPG file.  I want to correct some brightness and noise issues.  Is this program only for short videos?.  That's all I ever see in the tutorials.  Does anyone know if 95000 frames is too many for the program to handle? Frame dimension is 720 px by 1280 px. Does it just take a long time for the storyboard to expand?

"I uploaded a 52 minute video and it won't show me all the frames, only the first one in the timeline".

---> Try switching to "Expert" mode

"I want to expand it but I can't."

---> I'm not sure what you mean.  Zoom in maybe?

"I want to correct some brightness and noise issues."

---> Tools for that are in Effects

"Is this program only for short videos?"

--->It can do long videos, but there may be practical considerations based on your computer.

" Does it just take a long time for the storyboard to expand?"

---> Not sure what you mean.  But, the only thing that should take any time is the final output rendering.
