Using PRE20 to capture?

Wanting to upload (transfer) old VHS tapes to my PC, is there any way that PRE20 could do this? Is there a way to record the input to a project etc? Alternatively, anyone know of a reasonably priced software to do this?

I use an external Grass Valley ADVC-110 to convert VHS to AVI but you may have to look on ebay for that device

Or find some other external device that will convert an analog VHS tape player output to digital to save to a computer

I think that Blackmagic makes such a device

The ADVC is everyone's first choice -- but it requires an IEEE-1394 FireWire port on your computer, which most current computers do not have.

A second option is the USB-connected Diamond VC500. The quality is virtually as good, and it doesn't require a FireWire connection.
