Changed the 1080p25.sqpreset DSLR file to 1920p25.sqpreset with
wordpad to handle 9:16 video with Adobe Premiere Elements 2018
and then added a folder under the 1920p DSLR with the new file.
The program does not see it. Can anything be done?

Also note that the program can work with a variety of aspect ratios on version 2022. Which is much easier than trying to edit the project file in Wordpad.

Thanks, but if possible, I would like to avoid buying a new version of the program. I'm fine with the one in 2018

Fixed the problem as follows:
1. Copy the 1080p DSLR folder
2. Paste the folder on the desktop
3. Change the folder name from 1080p to 1920p
4. Change the name of the DSLR 1080p25.sqpreset file to DSLR 1920p25.sqpreset
5. Use Notepad to edit the file with the replace command:
to. 1080> 0000
b. 1920> 1080
c. 0000> 1920
6. Save your changes
7. Copy the folder to the folder that contains DSLR 1080p

I followed the directions received to create a 1080x1920 file but neither the 1920p folder nor the DSLR 1920p25.sqpreset file are seen by Adobe Premiere Elements 2018. I don't think I made any mistakes. Perhaps in the 2018 version there is a file that checks the integrity of the program and to accept additions it is necessary to modify this file. Any suggestions?

This should work tried this in the past.

You need to make a custom folder and admin rights.
