Video exporting issue

When trying to export a video file in Premiere elements 2023. I get an error message when trying to export prel file to mp4. "An internal error has occurred. Check if there is enough space on the disk."  There is plenty of space on my hard drive. I read on the web that this problem happen to many persons and Adobe community is aware of it. Did you fix this problem in Premiere elements 2024.

I have more than 200 GB data in Users\ivan\Appdata\roaming\adobe\common\media cache files\beyaert_HI8_  etc etc. It is surprising that these files are only for HI8 activity. Can I delete thezse 200 GB (moren than 100 files) without creating any problems?

The error message is probably valid.  The output processing involves temporary files that take up a lot of disk space.   Yes, it does happen and posts here reflect that.  The solution that works is to clean up some significant space!

Thanks for your answer, however this solution did not work for me. After my cleanup I had over 500 Gb free space on my computer and was facing the same problem. The way to fix it was to split my project in 5 for exportation and then re-assemble the exported files together. Since this problem came after release of premiere elements 2023, I was hoping it was fixed with the release of version 2024.
