video playback goes green! please help!

Hi! I'm working on a time sensitive project. I have a MacBook Air, which I know already puts me at a disadvantage with working on video editing...but I'm still hoping you can help me. 

 

Parts of my video footage go to a blank dark green screen during the playback, or when I'm trying to edit the video itself on the timelines. I've rendered like crazy. Some clips are fine, some aren't. Does anyone know why and how I can fix this? Thank you so much!

Good to know.  I've never had an Apple product!  My cheapness always seems to get in the way!

Green usually means there is an issue the gpu.

Post comp spec and gpu driver.

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Hand brake to convert to constant frame rate:
