Video Track Being Deselected

Hello,

I am working on some lower thirds on Track 2 and I have some footage running on Track 1. Every time I stop the playback it deselects Track 2 and selects Track 1. I am trying to see if my keyframes are position good and each time I stop playback I need to reopen up Applied Effects and pick off where I left off. Any suggestions out there? Thank you for reading this. I am using PE 2020 on a smoking Lenovo X1 extreme.

This has long been an annoyance with the program. There is nothing you can do to change this in Premiere Elements.
