The new 4K TVs are very smart. Mine is Samsung but I suspect the Sony is the same. My camera is a Panasonic but I suspect 4K settings are similar.
I record in the highest 4K setting on my camera. That should be 3840 x 2160 at 30fps at the highest bitrate. Your AX-53 should have the same, or similar, setting. It probably produces a MP4 file. Sony has something they brand XAVC-S, but I think it provides the same result.
Premiere Elements from about version 11 on, has no trouble with 4K files. It requires a relatively strong computer. Mine is about 5 years old and does fine.
There is an output choice in Premiere Elements of "match source". It creates 4K MP3 files at the same visual quality as the footage from your AX-53. Copy them to a USB key, plug it directly into the TV and they should play very well.
In other words, my work flow is shoot 4K, edit with PrE in 4K and watch on my TV in 4K. Additionally, I upload the same file to Vimeo where anyone can watch it on anything. It works very well with Premiere Elements being the editing tool.
