Videos not working in Premier Elements 2018

Hi there,

I have a gopro hero6 and i have some 4k60fps footage. However, when I try to edit the videos it just comes up as black and plays as an audio file.

Can anyone help?

    The Hero6 Black records in the H.265 codec, which is not supported by Premiere Elements.

    To confirm if this is the case, open your video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy and paste the report it generates to this forum.
