Viewer colour presentation n Premier elements

I have premier elemments 2022. There is a a persistant fault, despite uninstalling and down loading/reinstalling 3 times. When startig to edit a clip the film screen at the bottom is fine but the viewer screen is only bright pink and green.

Interstingly, when I re -down loaded and it wsa the TRIAL version (until I entered the licnec number) the colour of the vewing screen was fine. To me this would suggest that my premier is currupt. Photo elements editor has no pro
