Question

Why do transitions between keyframes only last 3 seconds?

Hi there,

I am working with a 15 second video clip and I want to make two keyframes:

keyframe 1 at beginning of video - zoomed in and panned slightly

keyframe 2 at end of video - zoomed out to 100% of video

When i do this, the transitions between the two keyframes only lasts 3 seconds and it's completely zoomed out (100% of the video).  I don't want this to happen in 3 seconds, I want the transition to happen slower and for the entire length of the 15 second video.  What am I doing wrong here?  Why doesn't this work?  I can easily get this to work in gopro studio but it doesn't act the same here in premiere elements.

Please help!

What happens if you move the keyframes further apart?

It's also quite possible you've inadvertantly added temporal or spatial interpolation to your keyframes. But it's impossible to say without seeing your keyframe controller timeline.

When I move them farther apart, nothing changes, the transition is still complete in 3 seconds no matter what I do.

I'm not sure what adding an interpolation is or if i've inadvertently done that or not, but i'll read up on that.  What's weird is when I clear my keyframes and start over, the same problem persists.

Can you post a screenshot showing your keyframes?
