Why does Premiere Elements 20019 hang when starting - ImporterQuickTime.prm

Hi all,

even after re-installing PreE. 2019 does not start.

It hangs for a loooong time on the intial pop-up when trying to load ImporterQuickTime.prm and then stops w/o any message.

Program does not start

OS -> Win10

Graphic driver --> just updated

Quick-time --> just updated

PrE --> re-installed.

No chance to start the prog

Can you assist.

    Google searching suggests you may be able to get around this if you run the program "as an administrator". 

    As a user of the current 2019 version you should start an online chat session with Adobe at Contact Customer Care  where they can resolve installation issues.

    forgot to mention that:

    yes, google suggested that and of course tried that as well.

    run PRE as admin --> still hangs

    Then contact Customer support and start an online "Chat".  They are very good at resolving installation challenges.
