yellow line over media on tracks

I have premier elements 2021, when I drsag and drop media to the video track a yellow line appears over the track. What does this mean?

It means playback will probably be in real time but it might not be depending on your hardware.

If your playback is not smooth you need to render the timeline in order to get preview files (green line).

Or do you mean the yellow rubberband over the clips.

The effect graph: instead of keyframing in the Applied Effects tab you can keyframe on the timeline.

To render your timeline, press the Enter key on your keyboard or click the Render button on the timeline.
