Question

youtube compression

  1. If I put photos in a youtube video using adobe premier elements, should they be type jpg or png?  Will converting my jpgs to png help make higher quality compression in the end?  Or does it really matter?
  2. When I go to youtube.com via the google chrome browser on my iphone, my videos play in a small square with poor resolution.  They play fine on android, on desktop, on an iphone if using the youtube app or if using the safari browser.  Everyone else’s video play fine too so it’s only mine.  I was exporting my videos with 4K resolution so I don’t know if that has something to do with it.  Wondered if you had any advice?  I think youtube compresses videos so I just don’t know if I’m exporting them correctly?

Png is better than jpeg. But converting your original jpegs to png wont help with the export.

You need to check your Iphone if you moving play fine on your desktop.

Might be a Chrome issue.

I use firefox to play Youtube videos.
