YouTube video lasts longer than the movie I made in Premiere Elements

When I export my movie and upload the mp4 to YouTube, the YouTube video length is much longer than the video I created in Premiere Elements.

Any ideas why and how I can prevent that?

Thanks,

Sharon

My tutorial will show you how to locate and remove the stray frames that are making your movie longer than it is.

I have never had this problem, so I don't remember the exact steps, but check your timeline to determine if you have a "stray" past what you think is the end of your timeline... since what may be happening is your export is going to the "stray" end of the timeline, not what you think is the end

Are you "exporting" to your computer then uploading?  Or, are you exporting directly to YouTube?

I’m exporting to my computer and then to YouTube.
