Zoom / Static Frame Reduction Question

I apologize for this newbie question.

Using PE 2023, I want to zoom-in slightly on my video frame and hold that frame position in order to simply eliminate unwanted aspects that appear on the borders of my original frame throughout the clip.  I tried creating a focus frame to eliminate the unwanted aspects, but it appears that the zoom continues to change as the clip plays so that I end up with a frame that's zoomed-in too much.  I want to keep the zoom (border position) static throughout the clip, thus simply reducing the original frame border.

Any help is appreciated.

Drop an Adjustment layer over your footage;

Add Transform effect.

Set (uniform) scale to eliminate the borders.
