Question

Adobe Rush constantly crashing and now freezing on boot "Loading ImporterQuickTime.prm"

I've been using Adobe Rush on my desktop (not on my phone)

I have successfully made a few videos (many video clips and audio clips)

Computer Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 3950x (16core)

GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060 ti (drivers up to date)

RAM: 64GB

Over the last two weeks Rush has started crashing more frequently.

Two days ago it crashed and would not reboot. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled multiple times. I was working on the last clip before rendering, so this is even more frustrating having worked on this video for weeks now. Of course this is a lite version of Premiere, but I still think that it needs to work well. (it has before now)

What the loading icon freezes on:

"Loading ImporterQuickTime.prm"

Things I've Tried:

Restarting computer multiple times

Uninstalling and Reinstalling multiple times

Installing in every past version of Rush

Deleting clips out of the files that wouln't sync (now creative cloud is fully synced)

Running Rush as administrator

Cussing a lot (helped emotionally, but not the software)

I'm now a pro at opening my task manager to kill frozen Rush

Next Steps:

I think the only next step is to download Adobe Premiere Pro and learn how to use it and start completely over. Which would cost more money and be a more robust program that I feel is more than what I "need", but it seems as though what I need doesn't work...

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated as I'm to the point of posting on a message board.
