Adobe Rush Crashing

Once again I'm here for help. I have recently started a new project and barely even a few minutes in, the program just crashes and closes. I've done everything that I've read for crashing issues and nothing seems to work. I've been using Rush on my ipad (which is practically brand new) for less than a year now and I can't get through a project without any issues. Whether it's glitching to lagging to now just crashing. I have good reason to believe it's the app and not the iPad as it seems I'm not the only person with issues. I cannot work like this and have deadlines to meet. Any suggestions or app updates to fix these issues?? This is very frustrating considering this a paid program and I have work that needs to get done. Adobe needs to do better if they want to be called a top tier program for video editing.

Hi @Shannon and Kaivan,

I read your note. It sounds like you're having a pretty bad experience there. Has it always been this way or just recently?

  • What kind of media are you editing?
    • Was it shot on iPad?
    • Have you tried different media, like from a video camera?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
    • Sign out of Creative Cloud, then sign back in.
    • Reinstall the app.
    • Sync with the desktop version of the app (if you have a premium subscription).
  • Have you tried a brand new project?

Let us know any further details so we can help.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Kevin, thanks for the response. The newest project I'm working on has the main video shot on my iPhone 15 pro and that's all I've uploaded onto the program this project but I plan to also upload drone footage, GoPro footage and iPhone 13pro footage into the project as well if I can get it to work. We did have issues from the beginning but the crashing was the least of them. Other projects I've worked on mainly had a lot of glitching issues but those videos were mainly shot on iPhone 13pro. I have signed out and signed back in. Tried working on airplane mode. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and just after I did that I lost the whole project and now have to start over. Luckily I hadn't gotten too far with it. Now I'm waiting for the video to fully load into a new project to see if it works.
