Adobe Rush slow

I returned a laptop because supposedly it was not strong enough to handle adobe rush program..

I now have the GE66 Raider 32 RAM Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz

I am not sure what all of this means all I was told was to get a laptop with RAM at least 32 and have a good CPU?

I thought that adobe would work fine, but it is now lagging ALOT on this expensive gaming laptop that I bought specifically because I was told it would work.. I dont know what to do... They are not long videos.. I dont know what the problem is. I updated everything in the system.

Does anyone have the same issue?

This usually does the trick for me if it stalls out:

  1. Close out your project, and sign out of Rush and Creative Cloud.
  2. RESTART YOUR COMPUTER, and make sure you don't have any memory-intensive ("RAM-hogging") apps running while you're starting up (I never run Photoshop, Illustrator, or Microsoft Office apps while working on videos).
  3. Sign back into your Creative Cloud Desktop App.
  4. Hold CTRL + SHIFT buttons while starting Adobe Rush - this will tell Rush you want a "fresh start" without losing your projects; it will open the Starter Tutorial like you were starting for the first time - simply close the tutorial, and your projects will be available.
  5. Open your project, and BE SURE TO WAIT for it to FULLY SYNC - look for the blue circle icon in the upper right corner, next to the undo arrow, and wait for it to get all the way around 😉  Then try editing and/or exporting, and you should be good to go... but just in case:
  6. IF NEEDED:
    • double check that any Adobe Fonts you may be using are activated and connected
    • re-add any missing assets to the project bin
    • Last Resort: DUPLICATE the project and try working from the fresh copy.

Hope this helps!
