Audio and Video out of Sync on iPhone, with Premiere Rush

I like using Rush on my iPhone and iPad, however when I add any recorded video to a project, it's out of sync once I begin to edit.

There's a 1/2 second lag between the audio and video. Is this common, and what's a workaround?
