Audio and video out of sync with Premiere Rush Mobile iOS

Videos taken on an iPhone were imported into Premiere Rush on iOS. The audio is not in sync with the video. It seems odd that this does not work properly as most people using this are likley pulling video from their phone. I've seen posts about this suggesting the video be modified by a third party app. This seems like a silly thing to do, so I am guessing there is a simpler fix to this? Please advise!

Hi @Kevin-Monahan,

I imported a 480p mp4 video into my iPhone photo library, and then created a new project in Rush with it.

The video and the sound are unsynchronised, while on the macOS version of Adobe Rush it is working fine.

The media sounds faulty. I would transcode it in Handbrake or Shutter Encoder. Let me know if that works, @macaaaron.

Cheers,
Kevin

I have the same issue. The media is not faulty as it plays back correctly everywhere else. Expect it is not handling the framerate or the audio sample rate correctly. Recorded on iPhone Pro Max 16 camera app in HEVC format 4K 2160x3840 on front facing ultra wide camera 29.97 fps

If I detached the audio and moved it ahead 0.25s it looks mostly in sync for 49 sec video

Hi tims58530251!

Sorry to hear that. Which iPhone do you have? Also, let us know the Rush version.

Thanks,
