Audio distortion/garbled/sounding sped up.

My channel mates and I are having trouble whenever we import a voice file into rush and pro. We have tried MP3 and WAV files exported from audition, as well as the file being resampled through audacity, bandlabs, and a few other attempted methods. It's only this singular Audio we're having issue with. Any ideas? I should also state that it's only a preview issue and exports fine... It's just hard to edit with the distorted audio.
