Question

Audio Doesn't Always Render when importing .MOV and Exporting as .MP4

I've been using this program for several years now and this is STILL a problem.

When I render our videos, taken with iPhone and imported into Adobe Premiere Rush, about half the time the audio is missing a portion. The audio isn't usually gone altogether just a portion of it.

Please begin to look into this. It takes a lot of extra time to render videos over and over til by chance it comes out right.

Hi @brandonhart57,

I saw your note. Sounds like you're having trouble with the audio when translating from .mov to .mp4 wrapped media. Which codec are you using with the .mov file? Is it ProRes or H.264? If it's H.264, can you try the "most compatible" mode setting for your iPhone and shooting with .mp4 wrapped H.264? If you are using .mov wrapped H.264, then that might be a problem. .mov wrapped ProRes files should work no matter what.

I hope that the advice helps. Please let us know if it does or does not.

Thanks,
Kevin
