Audio doesnt play when creating Videos in Rush

Question

I am facing a very strange issue when I am trying to create videos in Adobe Premiere Rush. After importing my videos into Rush for editing, I notice that the upon plugging in my headphone, the audio disappears and the video starts playing in a rushed manner. Now when I unplug the headphone, the audio starts playing fine through the computer. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

This is really frustrating. I have tried everything but whenever I plug in the headphone, the video keeps rushing and there is no sound. Can someone please assist me with this issue? I cannot do any editing at all, as all my videos keep's rushing without audio. Now, when I unplug the headphone, then the video is fine but it not realistic to do editing from a computer speakerphone.
