Question

Audio gets scrambled when dropped into Premiere Rush

If I copy certain audio files to Premiere, it tends to randomly swap small bits of the audio around. It's a little difficult to describe, but every half second of certain audio files seem to swap around. I think this happens when the clips are particularly long, but I don't really know if that's the issue.

Hi there!

Sorry for that. Can you let us know the following information?

  • Which device are you using?
  • What's the source of the files? (a device used to capture footage)
  • Does it happen with a specific project?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

Thanks for responding! Here's the information you asked for.

  • I'm using a computer, an OMEN gaming laptop for specifics.
  • The files come from Audacity.
  • No, it's happened with multiple projects and I don't think that's the issue.

Thank you!

Sorry for the delay. Could you uncheck "Use Optimized Clips"? Go to View > Use Optimized Clips.

Let us know if this helps.
