Audio issue in Premiere Rush

I'm encountering issues with audio since the last update (1.5.2) . Audio voice overs have static and pitch distortions. 
Tried doing the same thing on Premiere Pro and no issues whatsoever. Videos imported into Rush have similar issues with static and pitch. Exact same video imported into Premiere Pro and no problems there. 

Tried reinstalling Rush, tried clearing cache, all to no avail.
