Can you add audio only files to premiere rush?

I'm new at this, and trying to figure out if I can transfer an audio file from a podcast to attach video animations of some sort for YouTube. Is that possible or does it have to be audio with video?

You most definitely can have audio only! In fact, you can have up to 3 audio only tracks (and I think you can sneak in 4 more video tracks even if they have audio but no video). Give it a try!

    Totally agree.... you do not have video.  But honestly, if you want to do that, then I would try Adobe Audition instead.  Unless you do not have access to Adobe Audition.
