Cannot import any still photos from iphone 17pro latest IOS into a Rush video project - error says usupported media type. Any work around here? I cannot find a thread on this issue in the tech commiunity.

Sorry for the trouble. This may be related to the image format being created by the newer iPhone. As a workaround, try converting one of the affected photos from HEIC to JPEG or PNG and see if that imports into Rush.

Unfortunately, Premiere Rush is now at end of life and isn't being updated for compatibility with newer devices and operating systems such as the iPhone 17 Pro and iOS 26.

For future mobile projects, I'd recommend transitioning to Premiere on iPhone.
