Combine projects

Is it possible to combine assets from two separate projects to make one project? I have two separate videos that I'd like to combine to make one project. Each is saved in Rush as separate projects. I've tried everything I know to combine it, but it's not happening.

Here are few ways that you could combine your content:

  • Export a video from one Rush project and add it to your other Rush project.
  • Export a video from both Rush projects and combine them in Rush, Adobe Express, or Premiere Pro.
  • In Premiere Pro, on the bottom left of the Home screen, select Open Premiere Rush project, and select both projects. With one Sequence open, drag the other project as a sequence on to the Timeline.

This method is OK if you don't want to edit the combined videos' elements further.

If there were a way to take the individual elements from different projects and essentially copy and paste them into the other project, that would be great, but so far, I've never figured it out.

Opening your Rush projects in Premiere Pro (the third bullet above) would give you access to the content that you have set up in your timeline in order to edit the various elements.
