Compatibility for Android devices request

So, since the support is completely useless and fails to answer pretty much any questions, I am here now.

My problem is, I own a Mi 9T which is NOT compatible (apparently) but the MI 9 is. So I ask, why is that? What are the actual requirements of the app and not just a list of devices? Why would my model not be compatible? 
Why can it not be added to the list?
