Distorted audio in Audition

Hello,

I am getting distorted audio recording in adobe audition. It was working fine yesterday. Today it sounds like underwater/static. I have not changed any settings. I am using a focusrite scarlett solo and a CAD e100s mic.

It just suddenly started to sound like this, what are some possible fixes? Thank you
