Edit same project in 2 devices

Hello everyone!
I have a portable ssd, with takes of a project saved in a folder.
I plug the ssd into the Ipad pro, open Rush and do some editing on the project.
I want to be able to plug the same ssd into my Macbook and continue editing the project, but the Macbook doesn't recognize the files.
Can anyone help me?
