Editing High Quality Video Issue

Hi Everybody!

I have been having this issue with Adobe Rush while editing a video that is on the higher end of quality. Here is the breakdown of what is happening:

Whenever I edit the video on my phone, the video runs smoothly and without issue. However, while editing on my PC, the video is extremely laggy and the frame rate is choppy. I am trying to edit on the computer because that is where I have all my sequences and files for this edit I am doing. The thing preventing me from editing this eventhough it runs smoothly on my phone (will even download smoothly) is that more often than not, after editing a video on my PC, the phone app is unable to render and download the video properly due to assets and features not being avaliable via the phone. If I download the video via my PC, the choppy lag is still there. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations on how to get the video to play properly. Video is currently running on H.264

Below are troubleshooting and steps I have taken with no luck:

-Reset Preferences

-Download Video and apply it to Rush via Goodle Drive

-Download Video and apply it to Rush via Email

-Uploaded video via my phone

-Used Media Encoder to change video to change it to the following: H.264, H.264 Blu-ray

-Used Adobe Premiere Pro (Video is still choppy)

-Added proxies to video via Premiere Pro

-Edited Sequences and Proxies via Premiere Pro

-Uninstalled and reinstalled Rush

-Changed Frame Rates

If anyone has any ideas or has ran through the same issue let me know!

Hi Carlos!

We appreciate you tried troubleshooting steps on your own.

  • Could you share the system info (CPU, RAM, GPU)?
  • Which device have you used to capture the footage?

Let us know. Happy to assist.

Thanks!
