Question

Export keeps crashing

I've made a sequence of mixed photos and videos shot with GoPro, mainly at 2.7k 30fps. Plenty of transitions, colour adjustments, text additions, speed increases and added audio.

Have tried everything I can think off to successfully export the video but it fails everytime with the message " an error occurred, please try again". So frustrating, just paid £40 for the licence!

I'm using a Sony Xperia 1 II, loads of free memory. Latest version of Ru. It's only an 8 minute sequence, 500mb if it ever manages to export. Have tried splitting it, exporting at all available qualities, removing and adding permissions. Please help!

Hi,

I am so sorry! Your Sony phone is not listed as a supported device on system requirements: An unsupported device may lead to the unexpected behavior you are experiencing. Is it possible to sync the project and finish it on a PC or Mac? That may work. Let us know if you need help with that.

Thanks,
Kevin

I see my device isn't specifically listed as a supported device yet it is more up to date / higher spec than the Androids listed!

I have successfully exported projects in the past from this device in 4k.

How do I sync to a PC? I actually stopped using Lightworks on my PC and switched to Ru on my phone as my phone is more powerful than the laptop. Seems a rediculous backward step. Phone is operating Android 10, 8gb Ram Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.
