Feature Request - Audio Bug

I am having a repeated issue with audio not recording when I use Rush to record a video on my iPad. But with external mic attached an no mic attached, just using the iPad internal microphone. All software on iPad and Rush are up to date. I'm requesting better audio controls to see if there is audio input being recorded along with the video. I've recorded several videos only to review on the camera roll and there is no audio there, only video. It's been devastating to several projects that recording cannot be repeated.

Thanks for the message, @Lauren288787653dlv,
I’m sorry to hear about your issues with audio recording in Premiere Rush on your iPad. I understand how frustrating and devastating it can be to lose audio on important projects.

First, let’s try a few troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check Microphone Permissions: Ensure that Premiere Rush has permission to access your microphone. You can check this in your iPad’s settings under Privacy > Microphone.
  2. Test Different Microphones: Since you’ve tried both the internal microphone and an external mic, ensure the external mic is properly connected and recognized by the iPad.
  3. Restart and Reinstall: Restarting your iPad or reinstalling Premiere Rush can sometimes resolve unexpected issues.

I will pass this feedback on your request for better audio controls to our development team. In the meantime, you might find it helpful to use an external audio recording app to capture your audio separately and then sync it with your video in Premiere Rush.

I hope these steps help, and I’m here if you need further assistance. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Best,

Kevin
