Google Photos in Device Folders not syncing properly

I'm trying to import photos and videos from Google Photos from my Android 10, however the Google Photos device folder on Rush shows a random set of photos that seem to be in my animation folder. The workaround is to download the photos and import from that folder but that's is unintuitive.

How does Rush link to Google Photos? All the other device folders in Rush link to the right picture/video folders on my device.  Be great to have a preference option to choose the specific Google Photos folder.
