Question

Green Splotch, Not Lines, When Editing

So today I edited a video using Rush on my computer as opposed to my phone. I noticed, though, that when I would split the footage and then edit the section out, in playback I would see a large green splotch to the left. I have no idea why this is happening, but I would love to know how to fix it!

I saw the posts about the green lines and purple lines, but I don't think this is quite the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there!

Sorry about the glitching issue. We can get this checked.

  • Can you provide your system details (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)?
  • What type of files are you editing (codec/ format, frame rate, frame size)?
  • Also, what happens when you disable/ uncheck the option Hardware acceleration encoding and decoding? Go to Edit > preferences.

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

Sorry! I am just seeing this.

Windows 10

11th gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 @240 GHz 242 GHz

Installed RAM 8.00 GB, 7.77 usable

64-bit OS x64-based processor

I was editing .mp4 files, 16:9, not sure if that's the info you needed.

I will try the last thing you said and see what happens. Thank you.

I was editing something recently, and even though the blotch tried to show itself, I went over playback until I didn't see it, and then I think I hit something that said "optimise for playback" once I went to save it. The video came out with no splotches.
