Help! Rush is distorting my audio

Hi everyone,

I've been struggling with the noise in Adobe Rush for some time. The audio of my videos (filmed with Dslr camera and Rode Ntg 4+ microphone) is fine before importing in Rush, but once I start start editing on my PC, the sound is distorted and becomes unbearable in some video cuts, from one second to the next, even within the same sequence. The sound waves skyrocket for no apparent reason. It is very problematic because the problem comes from Adobe Rush (which is paid for)!

I know this is frequent problem and no 100% foolproof solution seems to be offered. I have the lastest Rush version (june 2021).

PS no point unchecking "Optimised clips", they're already unchecked in my version, so that doesn't work!
