How Do I Turn Sync Off in Rush on a desktop? (Mac)

Anyone know how to turn sync off in the desktop version of Premiere Rush?

I have a new i9 MBP from this year, but PR is running slow at times. I've no need for my content in the cloud, so switching off may help.

I know you can turn it off from the home screen but it doesn't seem to let me do it to my current project for saome reason, with the option not clickable.

Just noticed I was able to switch it off on the home screen, probably as it had finished syncing. looks like I'll have to do it as soon as I start a new project. is there any way I can turn it off completly?

I don't want to turn off CC syncing full stop as I use it for LR and LR mobile but don't want it for this.
