Question

How to delete videos from Adobe servers

After being logged out of my account for awhile, I eventually logged back in and found every single video projects that I've deleted in the past, popped up, but then disappeared shortly after. I repeated this, and it happened again but entered one of the previously deleted projects saved it as a new project to have evidence that this was happening and still have it. This shows me that Adobe secretly stores all my saved projects even and I've never synced to the cloud. Why aren't the videos deleted from Adobe's servers when the user deletes them in the Rush app? How to make a request to delete these old videos from your side and how to op out from having my private videos secretly saved without my approval?

Hey there, @jay_3750,

Thanks for the message and welcome to the forum. Originally, Rush could sync projects with Creative Cloud. Last February, sync with Creative Cloud was discontinued. In October, the remaining customers on EDU and enterprise platforms had sync removed. If you did not sync all your projects before sync was removed, you no longer have access to those projects.

That's kind of weird. Maybe the cache still held onto the links with CC. I am not sure. What kind of computer and media are you operating with? Or are you editing solely on a mobile device. If that is the case, which device is it?

That can't really happen since CC sync no longer exists. Something else is going on here because Adobe doesn't do anything sureptitious like that. Try inspecting your Creative Cloud folder manually and see if there are any local assets that could be taking up unnecessary space, since you no longer can sync with these assets. Once found, feel free to archive those assets or delete them if you have the original files backed up for later use (if desired).

I hope the advice helps. Please return with more questions for the community, if you have them.

Thanks,
Kevin
