Hello @defaulteukxr71wdf1f,

I just requested that our documentation team create a document around how to removed all traces of Rush from a desktop computer. It may take a little time, though. If you need immediate help, please contact us here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html. Please ask for the video queue once you are connected to an agent. Sorry for the issue.

Cheers,
Kevin

Hi @defaulteukxr71wdf1f,

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the excellent question.

Have you tried uninstalling the app by using the uninstall feature of the Creative Cloud desktop?

I'm unsure of the location of all the ancillary files Rush might leave behind, I do know where you can find preview files, generated proxies, templates media cache, and other such files that might need to be removed.

You can remove video preview files and proxies by going to your documents folder > Premiere Rush > Managed Media and removing those files manually. Inspect the Imported Media folder there, as well. If you are removing the app permanently, you can delete the Premiere Rush folder altogether, as well.

You can remove the media cache files by going to Preferences or Settings with no project open, then drill down to the "Media Cache" button and click it. An additional box will launch offering the ability to "Delete All Cache Files."

There will probably be leftover files in your User Library, but I'd need to investigate that further to give a solid answer. I'll aske the product team and see what they say.

For those looking to delete files on mobile, I am fairly certain you can delete the appand that that should clear out all the apps' ancillary files.

I hope the advice helps. Sorry for the hassle.

Thanks,
Kevin
