Question

How to use my own Fonts in Premier Rush on Mobile

I am attempting to Render on mobile a video I made on desktop (because my computer keeps crashing every time I try to render on desktop).

However, when I open my video up in Premier Rush on mobile, I get a "Missing Font" error listing the fonts I am missing on my phone. The fonts they used to replce mine are so ugly and don't match my fonts at all.

My question: how do I upload my fonts to mobile or download them to Premier Rush so that they can be put back in my video? I'm running a business and the fonts must be the same as on everything else.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Hi @MalGV87,

Thanks for the question. You wish to install a custom font on your mobile device to be accessed by Rush. Is that correct? I don't think that is a feature that is available right now. I believe you are limited to using Adobe Fonts. You would be better served finishing this project on the desktop, where you can install and use your custom font. I hope the advice helps you.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hello,

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment. Yes, that is what I was asking. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my post!

Ok, I understand. Thankfully I figured out how to get my video to render (restarting computer with absolutely no other programs open). However, considering I'm paying a hefty fee in order to use Premier Rush every year, I think it's real scummy how it won't even let you use the FONTS you want in your video. That makes no sense to me, especially since the fonts I'm using in my videos are all free. True, I still have my desktop, but still, what is the point of doing anything on mobile if the program just ruins your video? I'm considering sending in a customer complaint about this to the company, if I can.

Either way, thank you for your help, Kevin! Also, thank you to those who upvoted!
