importing HDR10+ from galaxy s23 ultraHDR10+ Recorded Videos from Galaxy S23 Ultra lost colors

I’ve noticed that videos recorded in HEVC mode with HDR10+ enabled on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra display inaccurate colors and brightness when imported directly into the mobile version of Adobe Premiere Rush.

However, when I transfer the same HDR10+ file to my computer and import it into the desktop version of Adobe Premiere Rush, the colors and brightness are accurate.

Switching the recording mode to H.264 resolves the issue for mobile imports, but I prefer to continue using HEVC for better quality and file compression.

It seems the mobile app struggles with HDR10+ compatibility during direct imports. Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a workaround?

Welcome to the forum! HDR video is not officially supported with Rush, @vkurela. Sorry about that. I'm not sure why the desktop version is helping you along with displaying HDR video correctly, but perhaps since Rush and Premiere Pro share resources, updates to Premiere Pro may have brought the playback of HDR into spec on the desktop side. I'm not sure, though. I can ask for you, if you like. I hope you can continue working with Rush using your current workaround. Thanks for helping clarifiying this issue for mobile users. Cheers.

Thank You,

Kevin
