Insert Text Overlay

I can't seem to find a function that will allow me to simply add text to a video segment.  Instead, I am forced to use the Title, Transitions, and Overlays, that I have to manipulate.  Please help!!!

    Sorry about the frustration on this. Rush used to have that capability, but it has been removed. The method you have found is the workflow you should use moving forward. I share your frustration as a Rush user. Sorry for the problem. Have a good one.
