iPhone 13 Cinematic Mode Problems

I love Adobe apps such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator and After Effects.

But whenever I touch something labelled "Premiere", it's always problems and troubleshooting. As if it was not enough having so many problems on my M1 MacBook Pro (dynamic link fails and more), I have tried Premiere Rush on my iPhone 13 to face even more problems.

Whenever I edit footage from cinematic mode on ios Premiere Rush, there are several random pixelated glitches (no matter what I do, edit, crop, replace the glitches that occur at random points of the video, and it's frustrating). Furthermore, everything looks normal during editing, but the colours look terrible and washed out once I export.

I realised that the latest version of Premiere Rush on ios is three months old, and iPhone 13 came out almost six months ago. I feel like someone should have addressed these issues by now, and this is truly unacceptable for a paid service/application.

Any solutions? (other than "do not shoot in cinematic mode")

It feels like anything with a Premiere label on it is being developed by some other small company, not Adobe.

Super sorry about that, Indigo Motion. Are you talking about shooting HDR on your iPhone and using it in a sequence with a different (Rec. 709) color workspace? Very sorry to report that the feature is not yet available (though it is on Premiere Pro).

You can upvote the following feature request: https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/916423-premiere-rush/suggestions/44443575-support-cinematic-mode. Let us know if we can help you get through this problem. Please return with any questions, OK?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,

Thank you for your response. First of all, I am talking about Premiere Rush on iPhone 13.

When I shoot in cinematic mode, the colours are washed out when I export the project (I am assuming this is because Rush has some problems with this mode or HDR) also there are random pixelating glitches around.

I do use Premiere Pro on my Mac, but I haven't seen an option to change the workspace to HDR or Rec.709 -or even other color profile on the mobile app.

It seems to me that Rush needs some testing with iPhone 13's cinematic mode and a potential update to fix the issues.

My problem still persists.

Has there been a remedy I still have the same issue shooting Cinematic Mode?
