Iphone, no sound playing back in app when adding to film

It usually works fine but recently when im making a film via the iphone app, the sound isnt playing after ive added music. There doesnt appear to be an update for it. The sound is there when i save and open in photos. Frustrating as i'm working with sound and slowing it down to fit the specific film but need to hear it. Any ideas?
