Is it normal that it takes 38 hours to render a 1-hour video?

Did i perhaps buy the wrong product? Is Rush made for smaller videos only? I tried to edit a video by cutting out a few parts and then when i tried to "share" it so i could save it locally, it began rendering and it says it will take it about 38 hours to complete. The video is a bit longer than 1 hour. What's going on here?
