Last second on video. HELP!!

Hi,

Extremely green in regards to using any editing software.  I've managed to simply cut the scenes together but the last few seconds or even shorter than that I have part of the video that flashes to my face I'm assuming exiting out of the program.  I'm trying to cut this out but when running the video all the way through it's not even a part of the film.  It's like one of those hidden messages flashing up.  I want to edit this out.  Even when pulling in the film bars to shorten the entire clip, it still flashes this at the end
